Today my wife and I went to King Soopers here in Longmont Co to buy soda on sale for 4/$8.88 due to an advertisement in the local paper only to discover after the check out there were preconditions to the purchase; specifically we must spend an additional $25.00 to receive the sale price. We then checked out both the newspaper and the store price sign and sure enough although written very small the conditions for the sale were there.

Both my wife and I could barely read the tiny print.

Had we known this then we would have bought the soda items with our weekly grocery's. Needless to say we took back the soda when we discovered the deception.

Reason of review: Deceptive advertising .

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Advertising practices.

I don't think this was deceptive advertising, just oblivious shoppers
